Although dealing with slightly different topics, the chapter in Digital History and the article by Garret complimented on another. Essentially, Garret’s pillars are the foundation which community connections, mass marketing, encouragement of return traffic, etc are built upon. Although Cohen gives some fine examples as to different strategies taken on my different web projects in each of his sub chapters, I found myself wondering in CHNMhad a pillar structure or strategy that it adheares too? What sorts of projects require additional “pillars” for successful outcomes? What might those pillars need to be? I guess what I’m looking for are some current practical examples of successful web teams and the reasons for their success.
